ASUS Launches VivoTab ME400 Tablet


ASUS, a Taiwanese computer hardware and electronics company, has just announced the availability of VivoTab ME400 in the United Kingdom.

The tablet was seen at Consumer Electronics Show under the name Vivo Tab Smart, though the company decided to change the name. The ME400 tablet is an affordably priced 10.1-inch tablet running the full Windows 8 operating system. Under the hood, we an Intel Atom Z2760 have dual-core 1.8 GHz Atom processor, 2 GB of RAM, 64 GB of storage and an 8-megapixel rear camera.

Measuring only 9.7 mm thin and 580 g light, ASUS VivoTab ME400 has a 10.1-inch LED-backlit display with a crisp 1366 x 768 HD resolution. The IPS display technology delivers 178-degree wide viewing angles. The device also features 5-point multi-touch and comes at a price of £399 with availability as of January 31.
