HTC M7 Possibly Coming to Verizon, AT&T and Sprint

The rumored HTC M7 will be the first to come with Sense 5.0 user interface. The phone was expected to go official earlier this month at Consumer Electronics Show 2013 (CES), but apparently HTC has other plans for the M7.

We can only guess that the superphone will be showcased next month at Mobile World Congress 2013 (MWC) trade fair, though we don’t have any confirmations suggesting this will be the case.

According to the latest hearsay, the M7 will be initially launched in the United States. So far, we’ve been unable to determine whether or not the device will go on sale in Europe and other regions with the same software and hardware configurations.

However, it looks like the folks over at evleaks have been able to confirm with sources close to the matter that HTC M7 will arrive at Verizon, AT&T and Sprint: “HTC M7 confirmed for AT&T, leaving TMO as the only major US carrier lacking concrete evidence.”

It’s unclear why Verizon would want to launch the M7 when they already have the DROID DNA which is barely two months old.

Aside from the fact that it comes with a slightly better processor and camera, as well as a new UI, the M7 is basically a smaller DROID DNA.

The latest rumors claim the HTC M7 will sport a 4.7-inch full HD (1080p) capacitive touchscreen display and a 13-megapixel rear camera with autofocus and LED flash.

On the inside, the M7 is said to pack a 1.7 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor, along with 2GB of RAM. HTC might release different versions of M7 with various amounts of storage: 16GB, 32GB and 64GB.

Obviously, the smartphone will ship with Android Jelly Bean operating system out of the box, LTE and the newly leaked HTC Sense 5.0 UI. Stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
