BlackBerry Z10 Goes on Sale at Three UK

BlackBerry Z10 is available in the UK for quite some time now, but some carriers have yet to offer the smartphone.

Three UK confirmed two weeks ago that it would carry the Z10 and listed the smartphone on its “Coming Soon” page. Today, the carrier announced the immediate availability of BlackBerry Z10 online and in all Three brick and mortar stores.

Customers can now order the BlackBerry Z10 for £34/€40/$52 a month with an upfront cost of £69/€80/$105 on the Ultimate Internet 500 plan.

In addition, the carrier also offers customers the option to grab the Z10 for £36/€42/$55 a month with an upfront cost of £69/€80/$105 on The One Plan, which includes All-You-Can-Eat data. Check it out here.

The most powerful smartphone launched by the Canadian carrier to date, BlackBerry Z10 is equipped with a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor, an Adreno 225 graphics processing unit and 2GB of RAM.

The Z10 packs 16GB of internal memory, but users can further expand storage up to 64GB via microSD memory cards.

The first full-touch BlackBerry 10 device, the Z10 sports a 4.2-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports 768 x 1280 pixels resolution.

Although BlackBerry prides itself with the Z10’s 8-megapixel rear photo snapper that integrates an innovative Time Shift camera mode, allowing users to capture a sequence of shots with just one click, reviews claim the phone’s camera is not that good at all.

Last but not least, the Z10 is powered by an 1800 mAh battery, which is rated by the manufacturer for up to 312 hours of standby time or up to 10 hours of talk time.

“The BlackBerry Z10 is ideal for those looking for a smartphone that combines the best aspects of a traditional BlackBerry device with modern and innovative features. Along with our great range tariffs offering All You Can Eat data without the worry of incurring extra data charges, users on Three will benefit from the ultimate internet experience,” said Sylvia Chind, head of Devices at Three.
