Verizon to Launch Pantech Perception on April 25

A new Android-based smartphone is reportedly en route to Verizon Wireless in the United States, and might hit the market under the name of Pantech Perception as soon as April 25, the latest news on the matter suggests.
The handset was spotted online a while ago, when it emerged in a leaked press photo, but no official announcement on the matter had been made until now.

However, a recent tweet from @evleaks claims that next week will bring the device to the spotlight, which means that we’ll be able to learn more on what it will have to offer.

Previous rumors suggested that the phone should hit the market with a dual-core Snapdragon S4 CPU inside, an HD screen of unknown size, and support for Verizon’s 4G LTE network, as PhoneArena notes. The rest of Pantech Perception’s specs are shrouded in mystery at the moment.
