First Render of Nexus 10 (2013) Posted

Here's what could possibly be the first CGI render of Google's upcoming Nexus 10 (2013) tablet, which could heat up the resurgent 10-inch class of tablets. Co-developed by ASUS, much like the Nexus 7, Nexus 10 (2013) could feature an updated feature-set.

The Nexus 10 (2013) picks up design ideas from both the Nexus 7 (2013), and the upcoming Nexus 5 smartphones, with less curvy rounded-rectangle bezels that are uniform in thickness, and the trapezoid top arch with the front camera and ambient sensors.

The Nexus 10 (2013), much like its predecessor, and other devices in the Google Nexus family, features soft-touch action keys drawn out by the display. It appears to feature a 10.1-inch screen with 16:10 aspect ratio.

Google knows it needs a better screen resolution than 1920 x 1200 to go up against the iPad Air, and could be mulling 2560 x 1600 pixels, much like Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 Edition). Under the hood, the Nexus 10 could be practically identical to the Nexus 5, with its Snapdragon 800 chipset, 2 GB of RAM, various internal storage options, and more.

The Nexus 10 (2013) could also end up being the first tablet to ship with Android 4.4 "KitKat" out of the box, which features a refreshed user-interface, and countless other new features.
