Nokia Lumia 1520 priced at €699.99 in Europe

Nokia announced the Lumia 1520 a couple pf days ago, saying that the device would cost $749 (about €542) before taxes and subsidies. Naturally, the actual selling price will be higher when we’re talking about unlocked units.

Nstore, a “Nokia premium partner” in Italy is taking pre-orders for the Lumia 1520, asking €699.99 (about $966) for it – including an initial deposit of €99.90. It looks like the store expects to have the 1520 in stock starting November.

Introduced as the world’s first Windows Phone 8 product to have a Full HD display (6 inches) and a quad-core processor (2.2GHz, Qualcomm Snapdragon 800), the Nokia Lumia 1520 will be available in four color versions: black, white, red and yellow. Alongside a powerful CPU and a high-res screen, the 1520 features LTE and HSPA connectivity, NFC, active noise cancellation, a 20MP PureView rear camera with dual LED flash, 1,2MP front-facing camera, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal memory, 7GB of free SkyDrive storage, MicroSD card support, and a 3,400 mAh battery with wireless charging capabilities. The phablet will be released in the US exclusively via AT&T – most likely also starting November.

As for Nokia’s other new 6 inch Windows Phone 8 device, the Lumia 1320, this will not be launched until early 2014. It will cost $339 before taxes and subsidies.
